NEWS: One More Match

NEWS: WWE Hall of Famer Sting was recently interviewed by ScreenGeek.net's Frank Palmer. Palmer was able to ask the Icon a seemingly redundant question considering Sting has officially retired. Palmer asked Sting if he plans to return to the WWE for one more match. Instead of giving the standard "no" response, Sting responded with an answer leaving the door open to an eventual WWE return. Sting stated, "At this point, I don't know." Sources indicate that WWE has generally softened their stance on the prospect of injured stars returning for one more match. The opportunity for a farewell match for legends like Sting and Daniel Bryan comes with a minimal amount of risk and the Company feels that such matches would be huge draws and exceptionally lucrative. If Sting and/or Daniel Bryan do ever return to the ring, it would have to be under the right circumstances with an ideal opponent (someone not known for being careless in the ring). WWE believes they have found the right opponent for Daniel Bryan in the Miz and our sources indicate that there are plans to have the two square off at the upcoming WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida.
