HOUR ONE
- Daniel Bryan is speaking to an unidentified person on his cell phone backstage when A.J. Styles interrupts demanding to know where Shane McMahon was. Daniel Bryan asked Styles to calm down and Styles only replied, "The next person to tell me to calm down, I'm going to punch right in the face." He and Bryan stand eye to eye and Bryan warns him about his career. A.J. concurs and then exits.
- A.J. Styles makes his way to the ring where he complains about unfairness. Styles believes he deserves a Title shot after beating Luke Harper. He states, "A.J. Styles had the best year in 2016. I put SmackDown Live on the map. I'm the reason your butts are in the seats and why everyone subscribes to the WWE Network." Styles goes further to say that Daniel Bryan is just a puppet and that he will definitely have a conversation with Shane McMahon later tonight.
- Becky Lynch defeats Natalya via submission. Postmatch: Carmella (accompanied by James Elsworth) attacks them both.
- Carmella is interviewed backstage and says, "You're looking at the next SmackDown Women's Champion."
- Miz and Maryse are in the ring for Miz TV, where they continue to bury John Cena and Nikki Bella. They talk about exposing the power couple; but, are interrupted by Cena and Bella. Nikki gets on the microphone and states, "If I had the power to block your job, why are you here right now? Maryse, we were never best friends. When we had an opportunity you made up a story and stabbed us in the back." She compares Maryse to a blowup doll, completely useless and entirely dependent on a man. She then challenges Maryse to a match. The Miz replies, "You don't get to make up matches, Nikki. Who do you think you are? John Cena?" Daniel Bryan interrupts the commotion to schedule a WrestleMania match between both teams.
HOUR TWO
- Mickie James defeats Alexa Bliss via pinfall
- A.J. Styles attacks Shane McMahon, badly beating him. He throws Shane through a car window causing a laceration to develop on Shane's head. The assault is stopped by former WWE Superstar Finlay. As medics work on Shane, he refuses to be hospitalized against the advice of the medics on the scene. Styles is seeing in the dressing room where he is confronted by Daniel Bryan, who promptly fires him.
- Mojo Rawley defeats Dolph Ziggler via countout
- Randy Orton makes his way to the ring and talks about his betrayal of Bray Wyatt and their upcoming WrestleMania match. Orton talks about destroying the one thing Bray Wyatt loves, Sister Abigail. He mentioned Bray Wyatt being afraid of being alone and now, after hearing Sister Abigail scream, Bray Wyatt is truly alone. Orton says the job won't be done until WrestleMania, when he will take everything from Bray Wyatt. Orton is interrupted by Wyatt on the teleprompter. Wyatt tells him that he didn't burn the soul of Sister Abigail as she is the spawn of Satan, spurned in hell itself. Wyatt says that Sister Abigail's power is now his and that he has been Lord of Lords, all seeing and all knowing and that he must purge all infidels, starting with Randy Orton. Wyatt states, "I'm born again Randy. In her ashes, I baptize myself," and then scatters Abigail's ashes all over his body.
- Baron Corbin interviewed backstage about his behavior last week, "I'm the man who puts people down. If Dean can climb up out of that hospital bed and shows up at WrestleMania, I will continue to take everything from him. That includes his Intercontinental Championship belt. Then I will put him down for good."
- The Usos defeat American Alpha after Jey Uso pinned Jason Jordan
- Shane McMahon is seen, bloody and tattered, wandering through the back area. He then makes his way to the live ramp and confirms that he will fight A.J. Styles at WrestleMania.
