When Steven Luke of NoDQ.com wrote his latest editorial, he probably wasn't quite expecting the backlash he would receive from two of the WWE's most popular talents.
Luke doesn't seem to be a big fan of the Divas era and the majority of his piece was dedicated to how he believes that particular era of women's wrestling doesn't mesh well with today's Women's Evolution.
In particular, Luke believes The Bella Twins should stay far away from today's WWE,
"The Bellas should be nowhere the show [Evolution]."
Luke continued,
"The reality television stars should be left on television and instead the Evolution should showcase matches that really highlight the evolution of the product."
He ultimately concluded with,
"It's time to let go of the past and let the evolution shine at Evolution."
Luke's opinions drew the ire of Smackdown GM (and Total Divas star) Paige who tweeted:

They deserve to be apart of everything and more, they are the one of the leaders of the movement. Smackdown Superstar (and former Total Divas star) Carmella also chimed in with:But it happens with everyone. Crappy article. Not just for them but for the “divas” you described that shouldn’t be apart of it, is an unfair statement. Without the divas, there wouldn’t be superstars.
