NEWS:

Apparently R-Truth wasn't keen about the way in which he was attacked by Nia Jax before the Men's Royal Rumble. Jerry Lawler took to his Dinner With The King podcast, alongside co-host Glenn Moore, and commented on an apparent backstage incident that occurred after the Men's Royal Rumble Match.

According to Lawler, who was a ringside commentator for the event, "This got real heat for real. She blasted R-Truth and knocked him face first into that wall. He was hot, for real hot. He was hot. They were having to hold him back, back there." Rajah.com reported that R-Truth had to be held back from going after Jax backstage, as he was incensed over Jax injuring his ankle and face.

This wouldn't be the first time Jax has been accused of being too stiff. She famously clocked Becky Lynch in the face during an episode of RAW. Lynch suffered a broken nose, and a concussion, and was rendered unable to compete against Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series.

Jax entered the Royal Rumble and eliminated up and comer Mustafa Ali, but after receiving an RKO from Randy Orton, was eliminated by Rey Mysterio.

There have been rumblings that Jax could face a male Superstar at WrestleMania 35. Could she challenge R-Truth for the United States Championship or is a bigger name like Randy Orton in her future? Jax brushed up against Dean Ambrose on RAW this past Monday. Could a WrestleMania 35 loss to Jax be WWE's parting gift to Dean Ambrose?

Lawler also teased, "That's probably just the beginning with her."
