NEWS: Backstage Heat on Baron Corbin

NEWS: Baron Corbin's historically embarrassing failed Money in the Bank cash-in had more to do what goes on backstage than any of the storylines presented on WWE television. According to sources, Corbin has major backstage heat with some higher ups in the WWE locker room, one of which is none other than John Cena. Corbin's heat comes, not only from his surly isolated personality; but, from his recent use of social media. Corbin recently instigated a few online fights with wrestling media; but, none found him in hotter water than when Corbin went after John Cena and Cena's fiancé, Nikki Bella. Corbin publicly questioned whether Cena was a good role model at all and this drew Bella's ire. Those tweets were probably done in character; however, Cena was simply not amused and added his name to the list of a growing number of wrestlers that would prefer not to work with the former NFL player. Now word coming out of the WWE is that Corbin's push is over, he has lost his Money in the Bank contract opportunity, is expected to lose to John Cena at SummerSlam, and will quickly find his way to SmackDown's mid-card. According to sources, whether or not Corbin climbs out of the mid-card is largely up to him; however, he will no longer be "handed" any further opportunities.
