Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reports that AEW may very much have an interest in current Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, once his WWE deal expires this summer.

According to Meltzer, "I believe that Vince [McMahon] will pay anything not to lose Brock because we've seen it with UFC. I think it will be even stronger with AEW. You know Brock's number is so high, but who knows? It'd be a coup. Let's put it this way, Chris Jericho wants a match with Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho has a lot of sway. That doesn't mean that a deal's going to be done that's a stupid deal, but who knows?"

Chris Jericho recently took to social media to insult the Universal Champion in a now deleted Twitter rant, "Intimidation and fear goes a LONG way in our business guys. But let's be honest, Brock Lesnar needs to pull up his pants and lose the guy....the dream is over dude. I don't play by the script."

Whether Jericho is just having some fun at Lesnar's expense or building for a potential future AEW angle remains to be seen; however, Meltzer also noted that Lesnar's next deal would be a three way dance between WWE, UFC, and the upstart All Elite Wrestling, "If he wanted to fight, he'd be fighting now. You know he got the big offer from Vince. He's gonna do WrestleMania. I fully believe he's gonna do the Saudi show in May and then you know if the contracts....a three-way dance this time."

Meltzer continued, "Paul Heyman is negotiating the biggest three-way dance of his life. AEW, WWE, and UFC all for the same guy. That's an interesting game, isn't it?"
