WWE TLC Final Card & Predictions

Intercontinental Champion the Miz vs Dolph Ziggler
The Miz and Dolph Ziggler have put on some fantastic matches in recent months. The match between Miz and Ziggler at No Mercy, a match Ziggler won to spark a short-lived Intercontinental Championship reign, was a sure-fire Match of the Year candidate. Look for the trend of greatness to continue as these two have an unparalleled in-ring chemistry together. What will be the difference? There is no rule the heel Miz doesn't feel comfortable breaking and with his wife Maryse in his corner, he has the clear cut advantage over Ziggler, who has no one looking out for his best interests. Look for the Miz to use any means necessary to hold onto his Intercontinental Championship, further drawing the ire of SmackDown GM Daniel Bryan, who looks to have one more match against the Miz at next year's WrestleMania.
Winner: The Miz via pinfall (interference by Maryse)

Chairs Match: Kalisto vs Baron Corbin
Corbin has played the role of bully exceptionally well. The former NFL player already dwarfs Kalisto by more than one foot; but, still regularly attacks Kalisto from his blindside, often using foreign objects to have his way with his smaller counterpart. The latest attack cost Kalisto and SmackDown a chance at the Cruiserweight Championship drawing the ire of SmackDown GM Daniel Bryan, who booked this match. Look for Corbin to use every bit of his size advantage to overpower Kalisto. He will repeatedly use chairs to brutalize his opponent; but, in his attempts to further humiliate and bully Kalisto, Corbin is sure to underestimate the high flying Lucha. Look for Corbin to dominate much of the match; but, the crafty Kalisto will catch Corbin off guard for a surprise pinfall victory that will only incense Corbin further and continue this modern day David and Goliath feud.
Winner: Kalisto via pinfall

No DQ Match: Nikki Bella vs Carmella
Carmella has transformed from a valet centered role in NXT to a central heel on the SmackDown roster. Her metamorphosis has been nothing short of spectacular, as she fits her new bad-girl role perfectly. Nikki Bella is her ideal opponent and no doubt sees some of her younger heel self in her new roster mate Carmella. Before Survivor Series, Nikki was attacked by a mystery person. The attack rendered Nikki unable to compete in the SmackDown vs RAW Survivor Series match. Nikki blamed her rival Carmella for the attack; but, has never even considered the individual who replaced her in the match as a likely suspect. Look for Carmella to get the win here; but, not without some assistance from the real culprit, Natalya.
Winner: Carmella via pinfall (interference from Natalya)

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions: Heath Slater & Rhyno vs Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton
Slater and Rhyno won a tag team tournament to become WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions. They ran through the best of SmackDown's tag team roster proving their union was not just a fluke; but, a legitimate pairing capable of beating WWE's very best tag teams. Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt have almost nothing in common. Their tandem has been seen by most wrestling enthusiasts as thrown together. Neither individual sees themselves as a tag team specialist and each feel they have something to prove as a singles competitor. Look for a competitive match; but, rest assured Slater & Rhyno will continue their reign, as Orton and Wyatt will have a falling out here, costing them the match and ensuring a continuation of the Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt feud in the months leading to WrestleMania.
Winners: Slater & Rhyno via pinfall

Tables Match: WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch vs Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss has caught fire since debuting on the main roster. The former NXT Superstar has quickly asserted herself as a force to be reckoned with on the WWE SmackDown roster. Bliss has become a major player for Becky Lynch's WWE SmackDown Women's Championship. Alexa was supposed to get her chance at Becky and the Title at this October's WWE No Mercy PPV; however, Lynch was forced to pull out of the match due to a significant back injury. When Alexa finally did get her opportunity on SmackDown, a referee clearly missed Alexa's foot on the bottom rope and awarded the pinfall victory to Becky Lynch. On this past week's episode of SmackDown, Becky set up a table in order to give Alexa a taste of what she might feel in tonight's match; but, it was Becky, herself, who ended up humiliated through the table. Conventional wisdom would assume that Alexa has Becky's number and the WWE Universe should be seeing a new SmackDown Women's Champion at the conclusion of this evening's bout; but, the Becky Lynch Title reign is just getting started. Since debuting in NXT, Lynch has done nothing; but, beat the odds. Look for that to continue tonight as she pulls one out by putting Alexa Bliss through a table.
Winner: Becky Lynch

TLC Match: WWE World Champion A.J. Styles vs Dean Ambrose
Styles has been flat lately, losing a series of matches to newcomer jobber and Dean Ambrose's new best-friend, James Ellsworth. The rumors are that Styles will face the Undertaker at this year's Royal Rumble, so look for the WWE to build Styles up, so that he is booked strong against the Dead Man. This will likely be the last Ambrose vs Styles match, at least for awhile. Look for a fantastic bout featuring Styles' brand of technically superb wrestling vs Ambrose's superior brawling skills. Look for a brutal back and forth affair where both wrestlers will use all that is at their disposal: tables, ladders, and chairs. In the end, A.J. Styles is WWE World Champion for a reason. He is a superior talent to any wrestler on the SmackDown wrestler. Look for him to use that to his advantage and beat Ambrose for the final time, only this time brutally and decisively.
Winner: A.J. Styles
