NEWS: Triple H Not Happy with NXT; Changes Being Discussed
NEWS: WWE's developmental division, NXT, has taken the world of professional wrestling by storm since its inception in 2014. NXT has been so successful in bringing in and developing rich young talent that many wrestling fans have argued that NXT is superior to both the RAW and SmackDown brand. Over the years; however, NXT has lost much of its talent to WWE's main roster shows depleting the division of Superstars like; Charlotte, Bayley, Sasha Banks, American Alpha, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Rusev, Lana and many more. It isn't that NXT's roster is an inferior product. It still has some amazing talent like; Samoa Joe, Shinsuke Nakamura, Team DIY, Bobby Roode, Eric Young and others. The brand; however, is arguably not as strong as it once was before its roster was pillaged by SmackDown and RAW. Triple H, the mind behind the curtain at NXT, has definitely taken notice and during a recent media call had the following to say regarding the current state of NXT and the impact of the brand split had on the roster:
“I’m not happy with where it is right now by far. I want it to be much better than it is, but it’s a rebuilding process. All these things going on, they all make changes in the ecosystem. Where everything lands at the end of the day is a moving target.”
Triple H also went further to discuss imminent changes with NXT:

“I think NXT has the potential to be a lot of things. Where it sits is not 100% my decision. I know those conversations have happened.”
If you're disappointed with the current state of NXT, the news is good. The man most responsible for making NXT a competing brand isn't happy with the current state of his creation and fully intends to make things right. However, if you're a long-time WWE fan and are worried about certain forces getting involved to further delegitimize the superior wrestling product the brand has become known for, this may also frighten you a bit, especially when Triple H used the words, "it's not 100% my decision." Only time will tell; but, there have been rumblings that NXT will lose yet another one of its top talents, Samoa Joe, to a Royal Rumble main roster call up.
