NEWS: Glenn Jacobs, better known to wrestling fans as Kane, is one step closer to becoming the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. Jacobs, who ran on the traditional GOP platform of lower taxes and limited government, has won the Knox County Republican primary edging out a victory by a mere 17 votes over fellow Republican Brad Anders. Kane received 14,633 votes to Anders' 14,616 votes. There are still provisional ballots out there, so Kane may indeed hit 14,666 votes which would be fittingly appropriate.
