RESULTS: WWE SmackDown Live Results - Vince On SmackDown, Paige Relieved Of GM Duties, & Asuka Defends Her Title!

HOUR ONE
- Shane McMahon addresses the SmackDown roster about last evening's RAW; but, extends the changes made to the blue brand, as well. He then rallies the roster to support such changes. SmackDown GM Paige then takes the stage and it is announced that she is no longer SmackDown Live GM. McMahon adds, "She's not going anywhere. It's just the role that changed." Paige receives a standing ovation from the entire SmackDown roster.

- Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring, "I don't really care who's running the show because the man is in charge. All the others are in the back listening to some corporate nonsense speech, but I don't do meetings real well. I'm out here with the people." Lynch adds that the only thing she wants from the McMahon Family is RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey. She then says that she's come too far to have some Roddy Piper cosplayer take it all away from her. Charlotte Flair then makes her way to the ring and suggests she would be champion, if not for Rousey. Asuka then makes her way to the ring and lets the two women know that she is indeed champion. Becky Lynch tells Asuka to prove it and calls her a 'paper champion.' The three are then interrupted by Vince McMahon who accuses Lynch of an entitlement attitude and suggests she is making excuses for herself. McMahon tells the two to take up their issues with Ronda Rousey and offers Asuka the chance to defend her championship tonight. Asuka will defend the SmackDown Women's Championship against Naomi.

- SmackDown Women's Champion Asuka defeats Naomi via submission

- The Miz knocks on the McMahon Family office door. Vince McMahon answers, but The Miz wants to talk with Shane McMahon. The Miz wants to tag with Shane McMahon and says, 'I'd be a worthy partner for your son. I'm just asking for your blessing.' McMahon is taken back by The Miz and says he has never blessed anyone in his life and that he does not believe in blessings. He wants The Miz to prove himself and asks him to find a partner for a tag team match later tonight.

- Kayla Braxton interviews Rusev & Lana. Rusev hopes the McMahon Family is paying attention to his progress, "I'm handsome. I'm a hunk. I've got big bicep. I'm a Superstar. I'm a Superstar athlete." He then goes on to talk about his handsome beard and that he could make thousands by selling it on Ebay, so that people can make sweaters. He says that Shinsuke Nakamura looks like Sonic the Hedgehog and vows to take the United States Champion.

- Jeff Hardy makes his way to the ring to address Samoa Joe's recent comments. He talks about his inner demons and is honest about his mistakes, but assures the WWE Universe that they were in the past. Hardy then asks Joe to make his way to the ring to give his apology face to face. Samoa Joe then makes his way to the ring, but he isn't there to apologize. Instead he is there for an intervention. Hardy says that Samoa Joe bringing up his demons is due to his own securities and points out the fact that Joe hasn't won one championship despite being on the main roster for two years. Samoa Joe attacks Hardy; but, instead finds himself on the unwelcome end of a Twist of Fate.

- The Miz & Mandy Rose defeat R-Truth & Carmella after The Miz pins R-Truth

WWE Nxt Takeover Into the Fire #1 Main

HOUR TWO
- The Usos make their way to the ring and call The Bar to the ring, but instead get Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson. The duo express dissatisfaction with seeing the same thing over in the SmackDown tag team division. The McMahon Family scheduled a match between both teams.

- The Usos vs Gallows & Anderson ends in a Double DQ after distraction from The Bar & interference from Sanity. Postmatch: Sheamus & Cesaro attack Gallows & Anderson, as well as The Usos.

- Shinsuke Nakamura shows cheesy Rusev highlights from Total Divas to reiterate that he isn't afraid of the former United States Champion. Nakamura says, "Rusev is not a United States championship contender....he is a Total Diva."

- Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring and informs the audience that Fresno is the #1 polluter in all of California and then shames the crowd for their environmental sins.

- Mustafa Ali & AJ Styles defeat Daniel Bryan & Andrade 'Cien' Almas after Ali pins Bryan
