NEWS: Two WWE Attitude Era Stars No-Show Indie Wrestling Event
NEWs: Dreamwave Wrestling is a small independently owned wrestling promotion located in LaSalle, IL, approximately 100 miles southwest of Chicago. Dreamwave has developed a solid base of fans that regularly attend the promotion's show with vigor and enthusiasm. Oftentimes big name stars come to the promotion to meet fans, sign autographs, and pose for pictures. Sometimes the stars will appear, in some capacity (either wrestling, giving an interview, or in someone's corner), at the Dreamwave show. Last evening Dreamwave held its WrestleMania, of sorts, and celebrated its 100th show. The show was promoted months in advanced and hundreds of fans bought tickets to the event which would feature Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Sean Waltman among others. Earlier in the day WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels signed autographs and posed for pictures with hundreds of fans in attendance. Unfortunately former WWE Superstar Sean Waltman had a dental emergency and notified Dreamwave that he was unable to attend the show. He rescheduled his appearance for a later date in December and also tweeted the following apology.
The Dreamwave show continued, despite the no-shows, and put on a performance that was comparable to many WWE PPVs; but, had to do so in front of hundreds of disappointed fans.

Kevin Nash later arrived to meet with fans and participate in that evening's show (as Scott Hall and Sean Waltman were also earlier expected to do). Scott Hall, who has a history of substance abuse problems, simply did not show up. He offered no phone call, no apology tweet, and no excuses. He no-showed the event, disappointing hundreds of fans that were there to meet their idol. Dreamwave offered this tweet in response.Sincerest apologies to @DWWrestling & it's fans for today's absence. Was really looking forward to seeing everyone in LaSalle. :(— Sean Waltman (@TheRealXPac) November 6, 2016
Apologies as Scott Hall will not be at DW100 this evening...At this time we are unaware of the circumstances surrounding this situation...— DREAMWAVE Wrestling (@DWWrestling) November 5, 2016
