NEWS: The Rock Calls CM Punk Before LIVE Los Angeles RAW Crowd

NEWS: It was Los Angeles, the place known for celebrities and movie stars. When Monday's live television broadcast of RAW ended, none other than WWE's biggest celebrity in its history, the Rock, made his way down to the Staples Center ring. As the crowd roared for the Rock, something amazing happened, a historical moment in wrestling history that the RAW cameras will forever regret not rolling for. The Rock decided to call persona non grata in the WWE: CM Punk. At first the Rock tried to Facetime Punk; but, there was no answer. Then he called CM Punk as the hot Los Angeles crowd chanted, "CM Punk! CM Punk! CM Punk!" When CM Punk did not pick up, the Rock left CM Punk a voicemail as the crowd chanted his name. CM Punk did reply via Twitter:

There is no explanation as to why the Rock did what he did or whether WWE approved it in advance. The Rock has reached such a status with the Company that he can pretty much do whatever he wants without fear of repercussion, so it is very likely the entire stunt was orchestrated solely by the Rock, in what will arguably go down as one of the most exciting rogue moves since CM Punk's Pipe Bomb.
