NEWS: TNA's Lawsuit Against Scott Steiner Dismissed
NEWS: TNA's long-time lawsuit against Scott Steiner has been dismissed by a Nashville, TN judge on February 22nd. The judge saw such little merit in the suit, that he also barred TNA from filing a civil suit or even re-opening the case. The lawsuit stems from negative Tweets Steiner made way back in the summer of 2012, where he criticized TNA, Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, and Brooke Hogan. TNA held to the belief that Steiner's contract barred him, "From making public statements, including tweeting, concerning TNA or any of its officials, wrestlers, or other individuals without prior approval." The courts, obviously, disagreed vehemently with TNA's attempts to silence their former employee's 1st Amendment right to free speech.
