NEWS: WWE Talking Brand Split
NEWS: WWE officially left behind the idea of a split brand in 2011, which led to the unification of the World and WWE Championships in 2013 (won by Randy Orton). Rumor has it that the WWE is once again considering a brand split. According to sources, the WrestleMania 32 match between Undertaker and Shane McMahon would be the beginning of a fractured company, a civil war of sorts, between Shane's brand and the Authority's brand. This would lead to two distinct brands competing separately within the WWE. A recent typo by the WWE only added fuel to the rumors, as WWE advertised a post-WrestleMania show in Baltimore as, "WWE Monday Night Raw vs WWE." WWE has since confirmed that the advertisement was mistakenly released; but, failed to state whether it was mistakenly released because it was a typo or because it was simply released earlier than planned.
