NEWS: Brock Lesnar Fails USADA Drug Test

NEWS: Brock Lesnar was victorious in his UFC 200 match against Mark Hunt. News now comes in which may taint Lesnar's big return and victory. According to sources, Lesnar indeed failed a USADA drug test. Lesnar was tested multiple times and passed multiple times; however, a sample that was taken from the Beast on June 28th tested positive for an illegal substance. Lesnar's opponent, Mark Hunt, had accused Lesnar of being on steroids before the fight and even suggested after the fight that the bout was unfair due to Lesnar's alleged steroid use. Hunt has issued an ultimatum to the UFC that they either sort the situation out or he would like his release. "They say they are trying to clean up the sport, but it doesn't feel like it. The UFC is basically saying if you cheat you won't be penalised. This is the third time I've had to fight a cheater in my career. The other two times I didn't ask for compensation, but this is the third time and I'm sick of them getting away with cheating. I've told Dana that I want a release from the UFC if they don't sort this out." WWE.com reported on Lesnar's alleged violation and simply stated, "Brock Lesnar has not performed for WWE since WrestleMania and is not scheduled to return until Sunday, August 21." UFC has issued the following statement: "The UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Brock Lesnar of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collection on June 28, 2016. USADA received the testing results from the June 28, 2016 sample collection from the WADA-accredited UCLA Olympic Analytical Laboratory on the evening of July 14, 2016. USADA, the independent administrator of the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, will handle the results management and appropriate adjudication of this case. It is important to note that, under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, there is a full fair legal review process that is afforded to all athletes before any sanctions are imposed. The Nevada State Athletic Commission also retains jurisdiction over this matter as the sample collection was performed in close proximity to Lesnar's bout at UFC 200 in Las Vegas. Consistent with all previous potential anti-doping violations, additional information will be provided at the appropriate time as the process moves forward." When Lesnar was questioned about his alleged steroid use prior to this failed test he stated, "I'm a white boy. I'm jacked. Deal with it."
