NEWS: WWE has future endeavored one of their most intriguing Superstars, James Ellsworth. Ellsworth had a meteoric, if not miraculous, run with the WWE. Beginning his WWE career as one of Adam Rose's Rosebuds (it was a thing, don't judge), Ellsworth's WWE run hit its stride when he was selected as a weekly jobber to face the gargantuan Braun Strowman. Ellsworth's pre-match promo struck a chord with fans when, despite the obvious size difference between the two men, he hopefully suggested that, "Any man with two hands has a fighting chance." Despite his high hopes, Strowman quickly made work of Ellsworth with relative ease; but, not before Ellsworth became an internet sensation leading to a push with the WWE and even a tee shirt (see below).
Ellsworth rode his momentum and even gained several shockingly impressive victories over A.J. Styles before becoming Carmella's valet. He generated another wave of internet controversy (albeit for the wrong reasons) when he grabbed the briefcase, handing it to Carmella for the win, in a tainted first ever Women's Money in the Bank Match. After WWE announced his release, Ellsworth tweeted the following:
Thank you @WWE for letting me live my dream, thank you fans for all the support, l'll continue to prove #AnyManWithTwoHandsHasAFightingChance— James Ellsworth (@realellsworth) November 15, 2017
In typical Ellsworth fashion, his last WWE match was in a losing effort to Becky Lynch.
