- WWE RAW Tag Team Champions The Bar vs Titus Worldwide
Yes, Titus Worldwide has earned a couple of shocking victories over the Bar on recent episodes of RAW; but, the WWE has no serious plans for the pairing of Titus O'Neil and Apollo Crews. Our sources indicate that Titus O'Neil's chances of wearing gold again after putting his hands on Vince McMahon are somewhere between slim and none. Titus Worldwide is simply serving as a stop-gap opponent to give the Bar a program heading into WrestleMania. Sheamus and Cesaro are seen as one of the WWE's best and most reliable tag teams and if they are to lose their RAW Tag Team Championships it will be at the end of a huge multi-team match at WrestleMania 34. Look for Sheamus & Cesaro to retain their RAW Tag Team Championships with a pinfall victory.
Winners: The Bar via pinfall
- Matt Hardy vs Bray Wyatt
The WWE has big plans for Matt Hardy; however, they include his brother Jeff. The two may be the pairing to take the RAW Tag Team Championships from The Bar; however, Jeff is still home recovering from a torn labrum and will be unable to compete until WrestleMania 34. Like The Bar vs Titus Worldwide, the Matt Hardy/Bray Wyatt feud is seen as a stop gap for Matt Hardy until Brother Nero's return. Furthermore, the WWE has no immediate plans for Bray Wyatt and feel he has exhausted his option with his character. After investing several years in Wyatt, he has stalled in evolving what could have been a legendary character, disappointing fans and the front office alike. Furthermore, the WWE is incensed over Wyatt's recent public divorce scandal with ex wife Samantha Rotunda, as well as his very public relationship with mistress, JoJo Offerman. The Company feels like Wyatt should have more respect for his character and remain more guarded, ala The Undertaker in the early 90s. His failing to do so, have put him in the proverbial doghouse with the powers that be in the WWE front office. This is why, when Wyatt was to reveal the Sister Abigail character, the WWE nixed the program with little explanation or fanfare. Look for Jeff Hardy to return as Brother Nero, giving his brother Matt the added edge to delete Bray Wyatt.
Winner: Matt Hardy via pinfall
- Asuka vs Nia Jax
Asuka has never been beaten in a WWE ring. Since making her in ring WWE debut at NXT: Takeover Respect on October 7th, 2015, Asuka has dominated every opponent unlucky enough to step in the squared circle with her. This includes Nia Jax, whom she resoundingly defeated at the June 8th 2016 NXT TakeOver: The End. Asuka has reached such dominance, in fact, never lost the NXT Championship; but, relinquished her Title after suffering an injury, shortly before debuting on the WWE main roster. Since debuting on RAW, Asuka's reign of dominance has only grown exponentially, once again defeating any opponent the WWE has thrown in the ring with her. Nia Jax is no Asuka; but, she's also no slouch. The 300 pound behemoth stands apart from her other counterparts. A giant in the ring, Jax is capable of dominating any competitor at any given time; however, despite her high ceiling, Jax hasn't really done all that much since debuting on the main roster. Instead of dominating the women's division, she's often played the part of lackey or second fiddle to the likes of RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss. Jax will come ready to fight and will dominate the smaller Asuka in the ring; however, just before she has Asuka beat, Alexa Bliss will come to the ring to "aid" her best friend, only her assistance will end up costing Nia the match and set up a huge WrestleMania match between Bliss and Jax.
Winner: Asuka via DQ
- Women's Elimination Chamber Match
WWE RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss vs Bayley vs Sasha Banks vs Mickie James vs Sonya Deville vs Mandy Rose
Elimination Chamber Matches, like Royal Rumble matches, are puzzle pieces from which WrestleManias are built. Start with Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose. Are they ready for the WrestleMania spotlight only three months after their RAW debut? While they will work together, they will find that their team work will be up against a WWE creative that just doesn't think their all that ready for the spotlight...yet. Mickie James is seen as a locker room leader, a stellar veteran addition to the RAW women's roster; however, no one sees her, at 38 years old, as the face of the Company or someone capable of answering the demands of holding the RAW Women's Championship. Plus her trust in Alexa Bliss will be her downfall in the chamber. This leaves three strong candidates for victory: Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, and Bayley. Look for Bliss to utilize what has worked best for her thus far: divide and conquer. With Sasha, Bayley, and Bliss as the final three competitors left in the first ever Women's Elimination Chamber Match, look for conventional wisdom to fail here. While most would expect Bayley and Banks to team up against Bliss elimination the RAW Women's Champion, Bliss will bob and weave her way around the two, using her savvy in-ring abilities and intelligence to cause Banks and Bayley to turn on one another. While the two focus on one another, they will make a fatal error and forget the RAW Women's Champion. Bayley and Banks will go on to face each other at WrestleMania 34 and Bliss will become the first ever female Elimination Match winner. Her moment of glory won't last long; however, as she will face her own best friend, Nia Jax, at WrestleMania.
Winner and STILL RAW Women's Champion: Alexa Bliss
- Elimination Chamber Match
Roman Reigns vs John Cena vs Braun Strowman vs The Miz vs Elias vs Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor
The winner of this match will go on to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34. While the WWE has been pushing Roman Reigns for that position now for over a year, some have speculated that with his recent steroid scandal, the WWE may be souring on Reigns and in turn, altering their WrestleMania 34 plans. Some have speculated that with the recent singles push of fellow SHIELD member, Seth Rollins, that Rollins will go on to WrestleMania 34 to face The Beast. John Cena hopes to deny each man an opportunity and break Ric Flair's record of 16 world championships. Braun Strowman is arguably the most dominant force in wrestling history, tossing trucks as if they were cruiserweights. Finn Balor would love what he is owed, an opportunity to regain the Universal Championship he relinquished only due to injury. The Miz has had his most productive year of what will inevitably be a Hall of Fame career and Elias has done well at getting himself over with the WWE Universe with his Honky Tonk Man shtick. Here's how we think the caged chaos plays out. Finn Balor will pin the Miz, setting up an Intercontinental Championship match between the two men at WrestleMania 34. Braun Strowman will be booked strong, dominating everyone in the match. Look for him to pin Finn Balor, Elias, and John Cena, leaving only he, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins in the ring. The SHIELD brethren will work together to take out Strowman and then the two men will battle for an all too elusive Universal Championship opportunity at WrestleMania 34. Steroid scandal or not, Vince McMahon believes in Reigns as the future of the WWE, so look for the odds-on-favorite Roman Reigns to pin Seth Rollins and stamp his ticket to dance with the Beast at WrestleMania 34.
Winner: Roman Reigns
