NEWS: Alleged Alberto Del Rio Stabbing Possibly Fabricated

NEWS: Cheap Heat Wrestling recently reported that Alberto Del Rio was stabbed at a restaurant in San Antonio, Texas. The news came after Del Rio was criticized by AAA for missing their Heroes Immortales  X event, without notice. Del Rio was scheduled to participate in the evening's main event; but, no-showed. Shortly thereafter, Del Rio notified the wrestling press that he had actually been stabbed in a knife fight which caused his hospitalization. Pro Wrestling Sheet editor Nick Satin followed up on the report with the San Antonio police and was told that "no stabbings" occurred during the entire weekend Del Rio claimed the event took place. This isn't to say that Del Rio was not stabbed; however, the incident is highly suspicious at this point, especially after Del Rio's controversial last year in the WWE (a year in which he failed a drug test) and especially since Del Rio has no-showed notable events before, including a fundraiser for autism.
