NEWS: WWE 2K17 Sponsporing Colt Cabana's Podcast

NEWS: Despite being involved in a bitter lawsuit against WWE Doctor Chris Amann, WWE 2K17 has agreed to sponsor Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling Podcast. The shocking advertising spot features Cabana describing the soon-to-be-released video game and urging podcast listeners to pre-order WWE 2K17. This development comes shortly after Cheap Heat Wrestling reported that Cabana and long-time best friend CM Punk had a falling out and are no longer on speaking terms. The reason for their fall out? According to sources, Punk was incensed over Cabana going backstage at a recent WWE event. Punk believed that Cabana's chumminess with the WWE has jeopardized their lawsuit and wants nothing to do with his former best friend, whom sources say, Punk can no longer trust. Cabana has not had any currently employed WWE guests since the lawsuit was filed against he and Punk, so perhaps this détente between he and the Company will allow for his Art of Wrestling podcast to receive more guests in the way of WWE talent. Nonetheless It will be interesting to see if WWE 2K17's sponsorship is the first step in getting Dr. Amann's lawsuit dropped....at least against Colt Cabana.
