- RAW opens with a Martin Luther King tribute video
- Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring and calls out Lesnar, who he is hoping to confront after taking an F-5 on last week's RAW. Instead of Lesnar, Reigns gets Chris Jericho, who makes his way to the ring. Jericho invites Reigns to appear on tonight's Highlight Reel along with Brock Lesnar. The League of Nations interrupts Jericho. Jericho quips, "I don't want to have you on my show Sheamus because I want to keep it entertaining." Jericho then asks Roman Reigns, "Who did you last eliminate to win the Royal Rumble last year?" The answer is Rusev and Rusev becomes incensed. Jericho snaps at Rusev, "Ask Lana, you always come up a bit short."
- Roman Reigns defeats Rusev (with League of Nations) via pinfall. Chris Jericho appoints himself as special guest referee for the match.
- Chris Jericho draws the ire of Stephanie McMahon backstage, who does not appreciate Jericho appointing himself referee. Stephanie snaps, "I am the Authority around here. RAW is not Jericho and it's not 1999."
- Natalya (with Paige) defeats Brie Bella (with Alicia Fox) via submission
HOUR TWO
- Luke Harper, Erik Rowan, and Bray Wyatt (with Braun Strowman) defeat The Dudley Boyz and Ryback after Harper pinned Bubba Ray Dudley
- Big Show defeated Heath Slater (with the Social Outcasts) via pinfall
- League of Nations are shown briefly backstage
- Vince McMahon and Stephanie make their way to the entrance match to pick the number one entrant for this year's Royal Rumble. Roman Reigns is the number one entrant. They select his name three times from what is an obviously fixed selection process.
- Becky Lynch defeated Tamina (with Naomi) via submission. Charlotte Flair and Ric Flair are ringside during the match. After the match Becky challenges Charlotte to put the title up for grabs at the Royal Rumble. She insults Ric Flair until Ric, speaking for Charlotte, relents and gives in to Becky's demands.
HOUR THREE
- Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus defeat Dean Ambrose and Kalisto after Sheamus pinned Kalisto. Kevin Owens is on commentary during the match.
- New Day is shown backstage having a funeral for Xavier Woods' trombone named Francesca
- Big E (with New Day) defeats Jay Uso (with Jimmy Uso) via pinfall
- Mark Henry, Titus O'Neil, R-Truth and Neville are seen rallying backstage
- League of Nations are again seen briefly backstage
- Mark Henry, R-Truth, Titus O'Neil, and Neville defeat the Ascension, Stardust, and Tyler Breeze after Neville pinned Tyler Breeze
- Jericho hosts the Highlight Reel. He is soon interrupted by Paul Heyman. Jericho asks Heyman, "What happens if the final two contestants in the Royal Rumble are me and Brock Lesnar?" Lesnar's music hits; but, before he could make his way to the ring, Roman Reigns' music hits. Reigns wastes no time and hits Lesnar with a Spear. As Reigns is pummeling Lesnar, the League of Nations interrupts attacking both Reigns and Lesnar. Reigns and Lesnar clear the ring. Reigns levels Lesnar with yet another Spear; however, the Wyatts come to the ring and destroy both Reigns and Lesnar. The show ends with the Wyatts standing alone in the ring.
