ON THIS DAY IN WRESTLING HISTORY: 1/22/1994 - Bret "Hitman" Hart & Lex Luger are the final two competitors remaining in the Royal Rumble match. The two babyfaces take one another over the top rope & their feet hit the ground simultaneously. Luger & Hart are named co-winners of the Royal Rumble. This is the first and only time in wrestling history that the Royal Rumble had more than one winner. Brett would parlay the victory into a WWE Championship victory against Yokozuna at WrestleMania X.
