NEWS: WWE Wants Shawn Michaels in the Royal Rumble

NEWS: According to one very trustworthy source, the WWE has its eyes set on a very prominent former wrestler making his return at this Sunday's WWE Royal Rumble. Ric Flair stated the following on his Woooo! Nation Podcast, “[WWE] wants him so bad for Royal Rumble, but he ain’t budging from that ranch down there in Texas." It is a testament to the decimation of the current roster that the WWE is dangling the proverbial carrot before a former star that has been happily retired for the last five years. Michaels has earned the reputation of a wrestler that can carry a Royal Rumble match; but, after a five year retirement, whether Michaels is in ring shape to do such a thing remains to be seen.
