NEWS: More Details on the Roman Reigns Suspension

NEWS: Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns was suspended last week for his first violation of the WWE's Wellness Policy. It is the WWE's policy to not reveal what the particular violation was, so the specific infraction is often left unreported. Violations can be as serious as cocaine abuse and as minor as simply failing to renew one's insurance (seriously). Although the WWE will never officially announce the specific infraction Reigns was suspended for, sources have now confirmed that Roman Reigns did indeed test positive for amphetamines. The following is from the WWE's Wellness policy detailing the banning of such substances:

B. Stimulants
The non-medical use of amphetamine, methamphetamine, Ecstasy {MDMA}, Eve (MDEA), MDA, PMA, Phentermine and other amphetamine derivaties and related compounds is prohibited

Cheap Heat Wrestling has also learned that when Reigns failed his test, he was forced to publicly apologize to the entire locker room. These orders came directly from Mark Carrano, who received them directly from Triple H, not Vince McMahon. There is word that there is some dissension over what to do with Reigns when he returns. Sources indicate that McMahon still believes Roman should still be pushed as the WWE's top star heading into the future; however, not everyone in the front office shares such sentiments.
