NEWS: Abyss Turned Down WWE Deal

NEWS: Abyss recently sat down with Good Ole' J.R. Jim Ross for an episode of Ross' podcast, the Ross Report. Abyss revealed the underpinnings of a near deal with WWE circa 2006. While Abyss inevitably turned down the deal due primarily to faith he had in the (at the time) up and coming TNA and a lack of faith he had over how he would be used in WWE. It is noteworthy; however, that according to Abyss, he would have been fast-tracked for a main event feud with none other than the Phenom himself, the Undertaker. Abyss didn't say whether or not he regrets his decision; but, did add regarding the WWE, "I'm sure it's an amazing place to work."
