NEWS: WWE Survivor Series Predictions
- Traditional Survivor Series 5 on 5 match: This one is so obvious that even the most ignorant wrestling fan would get it right. Team TBD will definitely destroy Team TBA and handily. In all seriousness, not announcing the teams show this will be a dud of a match with minimal fan investment. No build up. No named participants. These will be the leftovers that have no creative direction. What could possibly go wrong?
- WWE World Heavyweight Championship SemiFinals:
- Dean Ambrose vs Kevin Owens: There is certainly a huge buzz around Kevin Owens and if he were to win, he would certainly be a well deserved finalist; however, Dean Ambrose has worked with the company longer and is an even more deserved finalist. Plus the WWE won't miss out on the obvious here and that is a match between two SHIELD brothers for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Look for Owens' arrogance to backfire costing him the match. Ambrose goes over here.
- Roman Reigns vs Alberto Del Rio: Del Rio came back to the company with a huge bang; but, has fizzled as of late. Look for him to be Roman's next victim on his journey to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Del Rio will give him a fight; but, Roman goes over here.
- WWE Divas Champion Charlotte vs Paige: This is arguably the hottest feud in the company, after last Monday's angle that included Paige berating the deceased Reid Flair, son of Ric and brother or Charlotte. The angle ended in a huge wildly realistic looking brawl as RAW went off the air. The company will look to keep this feud going for quite some time. Look for Charlotte to win by DQ as Paige uses a foreign object to further humiliate and hurt Charlotte. Charlotte leaves as the champion; but, Paige might just steal her pride & dignity in the process.
- Dolph Ziggler vs Tyler Breeze: Ziggler is the veteran and Breeze is the up and comer; but, these two couldn't be any more alike. They look alike and stylistically they also wrestle alike. The advantage here goes to Breeze, who has Summer Rae in his corner. Look for Summer to get Dolph's attention and for the heel Breeze to roll Ziggler up and grab onto Ziggler's tights for the cheap victory.
- The Brothers of Destruction (Undertaker and Kane) vs Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman: Undertaker and Kane have the experience as a tag team; but, Strowman has not received the push he needs to get him over as a legitimate beast. Leaving Kane and Taker knocked out in the center of the ring for the victory would give Strowman the push he needs as a genuine monster to be reckoned with. Additionally it gives Bray Wyatt the right to use the title, "the new Face of Fear." Although Wyatt hasn't won anything in awhile, I will go with the Wyatts here setting up a huge run for Strowman and an eventual WrestleMania match between he and Taker.
- WWE World Heavyweight Champions Final Match - Dean Ambrose vs Roman Reigns: Look for this to be a highly emotional match of the year candidate. Dean will give Roman all he can handle. It will look bleak. It will look like certain defeat for Reigns; but, somehow someway he will will himself to victory. After the match Roman will celebrate; but, look for Ambrose to be unamused. He will turn on Roman unsuspectingly attacking him, leaving him knocked out in the center of the ring. Sheamus' music will play. He cashes in his Money in the Bank to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The Authority comes to the ring congratulating him and Sheamus leaves the arena as the new champ and as the Authority's new chosen one.
