HOUR ONE
- Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring to announce that Braun Strowman will be out of action for six months. He also announces a Fatal 5-Way Universal Championship #1 Contender's Match at Extreme Rules featuring; Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt, and Roman Reigns. Angle is then interrupted by Roman Reigns, who believe a Fatal 5-Way is unnecessary. Roman claims, "I'm the only guy that can beat Brock Lesnar." Roman is then interrupted by Finn Balor. Balor says, "I'm the first Universal Champion and I never lost the Title, so if you want a piece of the Beast the line starts behind me." Reigns tells Balor that he lacks the killer instinct to beat Brock Lesnar. Balor reminisces about beating Reigns on his very first night on RAW. The two are then interrupted by Samoa Joe, who is confident that he will win the Fatal 5-Way. He is then interrupted by Bray Wyatt, who in turn is interrupted by Rollins. Rollins goes right after Samoa Joe. Roman Reigns attacks Bray Wyatt. Finn Balor attacks everyone. He stands alone in the ring as RAW goes to commercial.

- Balor, Rollins, and Reigns argue backstage. They are interrupted by Kurt Angle, who announces that Seth Rollins will face Bray Wyatt tonight. He also announces that Reigns and Balor will square off later on RAW.

- Jeff Hardy (with Matt Hardy) defeats Sheamus (with Cesaro) via pinfall

- Alicia Fox (with Noam Dar) defeats Sasha Banks via pinfall

HOUR TWO
- The Miz (with Maryse) defeats Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose via DQ

- Finn Balor is interviewed backstage about his match tonight against Roman Reigns, "This may be Roman's yard; but, it's my universe."

- Alexa Bliss makes her way to the ring and insults the local Newark New Jersey fans calling them, "The sweat glands of America and the poster children of failure." She refers to herself as the Goddess of the WWE and calls herself smarter and more dominant than anyone else. As she continues to hype herself, Bayley interrupts. She wants a rematch at Extreme Rules. Alexa mocks what she perceives as Bayley's complete inability to get extreme, "Bayley why don't you be a good little girl and sit at the kiddy table where you belong and leave the championships to the adults." Bayley and Bliss then brawl; but,Bliss looks under the ring and find a kendo stick. She then proceeds to hit Bayley with the kendo stick. Bayley writhes in obvious pain after Bliss' blow. Bliss stands alone in the ring mocking Bayley as Bayley agonizes on the floor outside the ring.

- Kurt Angle is on the phone backstage when he is interrupted by the Miz, who is incensed over what he believes was Dean Ambrose's attempt to intentionally get himself disqualified. Angle makes a match between The Miz and Dean Ambrose at Extreme Rules. If Ambrose is disqualified in the match, the Miz will become Intercontinental Champion. They are all interrupted by the Drifter, who doesn't talk and instead only mysteriously plays a few guitar chords.

- Neville and TJP (T.J. Perkins) defeat Jack Gallagher and Austin Aries after TJP pins Jack Gallagher

- Bayley is seen nursing her shoulder backstage, the same shoulder that Bliss hit with the kendo stick earlier in the evening. Angle offers to make their Extreme Rules Match a straight up wrestling match; but, Bayley protests. Angle agrees that Bliss vs Bayley will occur at Extreme Rules in a Kendo Stick on a Pole Match.

- Goldust and R-Truth discuss last week's loss in the Tag Team Turmoil. R-Truth feels he let Goldust down in their loss. Goldust isn't having any of it and is staying positive about eventually becoming RAW Tag Team Champions.

HOUR THREE
- Roman Reigns defeats Finn Balor via pinfall

- Bray Wyatt does a backstage vignette calling out both Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar

- Seth Rollins is interviewed backstage about his match tonight with Bray Wyatt, "When Seth Frickin' Rollins enters the building I don't have to announce, 'I'm here.' My actions speak louder than words. If anyone is going to slay the Beast, it will be the one who has already slayed the King."

- Goldust and R-Truth make their way to the ring; however, Goldust attacks R-Truth before their match. Goldust mercilessly beats his former partner to the silence of a stunned crowd. As Goldust stands above his battered partner he taunts, "That's what's up."

- Enzo Amore and Big Cass make their way to the ring; but, are interrupted by Apollo Crews and Titus O'Neil. The four exchange banter between a singles match between Titus O'Neil and Big Cass.

- Big Cass (with Enzo Amore) defeats Titus O'Neil (with Apollo Crews) via pinfall

- Neville and TJP discuss their tag team match backstage. TJP still wants a Cruiserweight Championship Match; but, Neville insists the two take care of Austin Aries before squaring off.

- Seth Rollins defeats Bray Wyatt via DQ. Samoa Joe interferes in the match and brutalizes him thereafter. Samoa Joe and Bray Wyatt have a stand off; but, then continue to pummel Seth Rollins together. Wyatt then turns on Samoa Joe, giving him the Sister Abigail.
