NEWS: Baron Corbin has been in the proverbial WWE doghouse for quite some time and things aren't getting any better. After being given the opportunity of a lifetime in winning this year's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, Corbin quickly and uneventfully lost his opportunity in a squash match against WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. The WWE decided to take the Money in the Bank briefcase away from Corbin as he has simply failed to get over with WWE audiences, who find him boring. Corbin's surly anti-social personality hasn't endeared him to any of the Superstars backstage either, nor many in WWE's front office. Recently Corbin drew the ire of the powers that be in the WWE during a seminar with WWE doctor Joseph Maroon. Maroon was speaking to the roster regarding CTE and Corbin publicly and very vocally disagreed with Maroon's assessment on the condition. Many felt that Corbin was out of line and that he should have seen Maroon privately to address any concerns he had. Some in the WWE front office were so irate over the way Maroon (who is highly respected) was treated that they felt Corbin should have been made an example of and promptly future endeavored. This; however, did not happen. As there are many against Corbin, the ex NFL-er may have the one person he needs on his side. Vince McMahon is said to be exceptionally high on Corbin and quickly put the kibosh to any talks of his being released.
