NEWS: Cody Rhodes Can Not Use the Name "Cody Rhodes"

NEWS: Former WWE Superstar and current ROH and TNA star Cody Rhodes can not currently use the name "Cody Rhodes" when making any television appearances. Cody, who was born Cody Runnels, has been using the name Cody Rhodes for the entirety of his WWE career. Although Cody's father, Dusty Rhodes, came up with the Rhodes name more than fifty years ago, well before the WWE claimed ownership of the name, Cody is disallowed from using it on television. This can change as the two parties are currently negotiating a deal. If nothing comes of the WWE's negotiations with Cody Rhodes, it could make Cody's book release (he is writing a book on his late father Dusty Rhodes) a very interesting and tangled legal affair.
