NEWS: WWE to Tone Down Cruiserweight Division

NEWS: We don't like to say we told you so; but, we told you so. WWE has put its corporate fingers into the back of its new puppet: the Cruiserweight division. WWE's Cruiserweight division was simply too good to last. The high-flying hectic style of Gran Metalik, T.J. Perkins, and the others in the division have been red-flagged by the powers that be in the WWE's front office. Officials believe the style to be too dangerous and unable to last the long-haul of WWE's three hundred nights a year schedule. WWE has lectured each member of its Cruiserweight division about toning things down and editing their move sets to fit more into the WWE style of wrestling. This will drastically change the style enjoyed by many during the Cruiserweight Classic to the more WWE-friendly style of Kalisto and Sin Cara.
