NEWS: Dean Ambrose vs Baron Corbin was moved to the WrestleMania KickOff Show in an apparent last minute move that left many scratching their heads. The Intercontinental Championship Match was announced as being a part of the main show early on and that remained until the morning of WrestleMania sources confirm. According to those same sources, the WWE is extremely disappointed with Dean Ambrose. Some in the front office don't think Ambrose took WrestleMania weekend as seriously as he should have and that was confirmed to them by the alleged state Ambrose showed up for the Hall of Fame ceremony in. According to sources, Ambrose arrived at the WWE Hall of Fame in an apparent intoxicated state, drawing the ire of Vince McMahon and others. The higher ups in the WWE were so incensed by Ambrose's state at the Hall of Fame that they moved his WrestleMania match to the KickOff Show, as a punishment of sorts. Ambrose and Corbin was widely seen as one of WrestleMania's most lackluster matches. It is the second year in a row Ambrose has been involved in a below average Mania match. Now word comes that the WWE has altered all future plans for him. Baron Corbin will soon be crowned Intercontinental Champion. The only reason it did not happen at WrestleMania was because the WWE did not want to waste a big moment for Corbin on a pre-show. WWE is now intent on teaming Ambrose up with someone (no word yet on who) to anchor the struggling SmackDown tag team division, similar to how RAW used Sheamus and Cesaro. This is a big departure for their previous Ambrose plans. WWE saw Ambrose as someone they could build the SmackDown division around and now he will be strictly used to build up a subpar SmackDown tag team division, something our sources indicate Ambrose is extremely unhappy about.
