HOUR ONE
- Kevin Owens, donning a suit and a clean shaven look, makes his way to the ring along with the United States Championship. Owens riles up the Boston crowd by telling them, "Canada is much better than the United States...Canadians make better athletes than Americans." He then speaks in French and calls Americans morons for only speaking one language. Owens then claims to be able to beat everyone on SmackDown & calls himself the new face of America. He is interrupted by Baron Corbin, who takes exception to Owens' comments. Corbin talks about how he beat Ambrose so bad that he ran to RAW and then Ambrose, in turn, beat Owens so bad he ran to SmackDown. Corbin comments on how he is owed a rematch. Sami Zayn then enters the fray to announce he is on SmackDown; but, he is soon followed by A.J. Styles. Styles states, "This is not the Kevin Owens show. This is SmackDown LIVE!" He then states that it isn't about Sami Zayn or Corbin either. He says, "This is about me, about SmackDown LIVE, the house that A.J. Styles built and I am still here." The quartet are interrupted by SmackDown LIVE GM Daniel Bryan. Bryan states that Owens will still face Jericho at Payback, with the winner coming to SmackDown LIVE. He then states that either Zayn, Corbin, or Styles will face the winner of Owens and Jericho. The three will compete in a #1 Contender's Match tonight on SmackDown LIVE.
- Randy Orton defeats Erick Rowan via DQ (Bray Wyatt runs distraction) Postmatch: Rowan attacks Orton
- WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos defeated American Alpha after Jay Uso pinned Chad Gable. Postmatch: American Alpha are attacked by The Shining Stars, who are coming over from RAW.
- Mojo Rawley defeats Jinder Mahal (Interference by Rob Gronkowski, who is sitting ringside. He gives Jinder Mahal a WrestleMania revenge beer bath.) Postmatch: Mojo Rawley celebrates with Gronkowski and friends.
HOUR TWO
- Shane McMahon makes his way to the ring to discuss the SmackDown LIVE Women's Division. He invites the entire SmackDown LIVE Women's Division to the ring. SmackDown Women's Champion makes her way first. She is followed by Natalya, Carmella (with James Ellsworth), Becky Lynch. Shane congratulates Naomi and claims that the division is so strong due to Naomi. Ellsworth disagrees; but, Naomi takes the mic from him and says, "Carmella, you better get your side chick before she gets chin checked." Shane McMahon then announces Tamina Snuka and Charlotte Flair as SmackDown's newest additions.
- SmackDown announces Sin Cara and Rusev are both coming to SmackDown LIVE.
- Aiden English is in the ring singing; but, he is interrupted by Tye Dillinger.
- Tye Dillinger defeats Aiden English via pinfall
- Lana is also announced as coming to SmackDown LIVE
- Dolph Ziggler is in the ring and announces he is staying on SmackDown LIVE; but, is interrupted by Shinsuke Nakamura. Dolph Ziggler wants to know who Shinsuke thinks he is, to which Nakamura replies, "I am Shinsuke Nakamura." Dolph then attempts to SuperKick Shinsuke; but, is blocked and ends up falling on his behind. Dolph then leaves the ring.
- The New Day has been announced as a SmackDown LIVE addition
- A.J. Styles defeats Sami Zayn & Baron Corbin in a Triple Threat Match (Styles pins Zayn). A.J. Styles is the new #1 contender for the United States Championship.
