NEWS: Dean Ambrose - Lazy & Complacent?

NEWS: The Miz, as he is known to do, cut a scathing promo on Dean Ambrose this week on RAW. The Miz referred to Ambrose as "lazy" and "complacent." Ambrose seemed visibly taken aback by the harsh words. Ambrose is no stranger to criticism, as he received a scathing critique while guesting on Steve Austin's Stone Cold Podcast. Austin lamented what he sees as a lack of risk taking from Ambrose and challenged the leader of the Lunatic Fringe to take more of those risks. According to sources, Austin and the Miz didn't simply come to their own conclusions about Ambrose. These are general feelings many in the front office already have and those feelings are seeping into the WWE locker room. There are high expectations for Ambrose; but, thus far, he has failed to live up to many of them. It is quite possible that Ambrose's laid back demeanor clashes with the business types in the WWE front office. It's also possible that Ambrose's lunatic character simply doesn't cross over into the PG politically correct world the WWE finds itself in. After all, how would some of the great lunatics of the past translate into the PG era? Imagine Abdullah the Butcher without the fork or Cactus Jack sans the Death Match. Whatever the actual issue is, more is expected from Ambrose and he isn't delivering to the liking of the higher ups backstage.
