FINAL CARD & PREDICTIONS:
4/2/2017
WWE WrestleMania 33
Orlando, FL

SmackDown Women's Champion Alexa Bliss vs The Entire SmackDown Women's Roster
This may be the WWE's most controversial match heading into the show of shows. Initially scheduled for the KickOff Show, fan pressure caused the WWE to move the match to the main card and rightfully so. Each of these women work exceptionally hard in removing professional women's wrestling away from the divas moniker. Each have earned the opportunity to have an official match at WrestleMania. Alexa Bliss is an exceptional champion and great on the microphone. She may just be a little too good, as she routinely draws negative attention her way from the fans, to the front office, to the other women in the SmackDown locker room. An earlier report that the WWE was unhappy with her in-ring work was refuted by long-time WWE man "Road Dogg" Brian James; however, where there is smoke there is usually fire. Our sources indicate that despite obvious improvements made to Bliss' in-ring work, she just doesn't have many friends in the WWE, leaving many with a strong desire to move on. Much of this stems from Bliss' early reputation, rather than what she currently actually is; one of the hardest workers and one of the best heels in the business. Mickie James, Natalya, and Carmella are all worthy competitors deserving a WWE SmackDown Championship opportunity; however, make no mistake about it: this match is all about Naomi. Naomi was forced to relinquish her SmackDown Women's Championship (after defeating Alexa Bliss) due to a severe ankle injury. She is now returning to take back what is rightfully hers, before a hometown audience in Orlando, Florida. WWE has been vague with releasing details on exactly how this match will work; however, one thing is fairly certain. At the end of this one, Naomi, one of the most outstanding female athletes in professional wrestling, will become the new SmackDown Women's Champion.
Winner and NEW SmackDown Women's Champion: Naomi

TAG TEAM TRIPLE THREAT LADDER MATCH
RAW Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs Sheamus & Cesaro
The New Day lost their historic 483 day tag team championship reign to Sheamus and Cesaro. Since then, the RAW tag team division has been in near constant turmoil. Sheamus and Cesaro inevitably dropped the Titles to The Good Brothers, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, who head into WrestleMania as the current champions. The New Day, despite being a near constant fixture in the RAW tag team division, won't even be competing in a WrestleMania match. The New Day; however, will be special guest hosts at this year's WrestleMania and as special guest hosts, they will carry certain privileges afforded to such a position. Included in those privileges will inevitably be the opportunity to change this RAW Tag Team Triple Threat Ladder Match to a Fatal Four Way Tag Team Ladder Match. No, the New Day will not be competing. They will instead introduce the fourth tag team into this fray, a team whose particular expertise happens to be ladder matches, a team who has won titles in wrestling promotions the world over, and whose current hobby happens to be deleting their opponents: The Hardyz. Matt and Jeff Hardy will return to the WWE to compete in this ladder match and instantly be far superior to either of the three teams, who will have no opportunity to study or scout their surprise opponent. Matt and Jeff Hardy will wow the audience with their risky in ring work and fearlessness atop the heights of unforgiving steel ladders. At the end of the night the winners of this match will be a complete surprise, a team not even announced as participants; but, it will be the team most likely to risk everything to win.
Winners and NEW RAW Tag Team Champions: The Hardy Boyz

Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose vs Baron Corbin
Dean Ambrose, once a member of the legendary fraternity the SHIELD, is no stranger to being an up and comer. It was once Ambrose who was considered the future of the WWE and he has not disappointed. Ambrose is a decorated champion, a former WWE champion, Tag Team Champion, United States Champion and current Intercontinental Champion; but, undoubtedly it is Baron Corbin who is the future of the WWE. Standing at a towering 6'8" tall with long hair, leather pants, and a tatted up physique, Corbin cuts an intimidating presence as the most vile heel in the business. The WrestleMania 32 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner nearly killed Dean Ambrose on a recent episode of SmackDown LIVE, when he nearly crushed the Intercontinental Champion with a bulldozer. It isn't personal for Corbin. This is only par for the course. Dean Ambrose has what he wants, a necessary trophy on his way to what will inevitably be a Hall of Fame career: The Intercontinental Championship. The only problem is that Dean Ambrose is what stands in his way. The leader of the Lunatic Fringe has proven that he doesn't know or care when he is overmatched. He will fight until there is no fight left in him. Lunacy is his bedfellow. This was proven last year when Ambrose didn't blink in an Extreme Rules Match against Brock Lesnar. Lesnar thoroughly abused Ambrose; but, Ambrose kept fighting, even though he inevitably lost the match, as most experts predicted. This is also another losing battle for the Intercontinental Champion. Yes Ambrose will fight; but, fight can only get you so much. Corbin is bigger, faster, stronger and after this WrestleMania 33 match, will prove to be better. He is the WWE's latest apex predator (sorry Randy Orton) and will do what apex predators do: devour and conquer. Look for a back and forth fight; but, inevitably Baron Corbin will take his next step toward greatness by achieving a dominating pinfall victory.
Winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion: Baron Corbin

United States Champion Chris Jericho vs Kevin Owens
When Hulk Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, two former best friends, tangled at WrestleMania V, the WWE be labeled their epic encounter: The MegaPowers collide. Hogan and Savage were never best of friends and lacked the natural chemistry bestowed by the wrestling gods to Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens. Their friendship was unseen in wrestling lore and rivaled the great friendships in history like; Affleck and Damon, Ian McKellan and Patrick Stewart, CM Punk and Colt Cabana...ok maybe that last one isn't a good example. None the less, Owens and Jericho were inseparable and gave the WWE Universe warm fuzzy feelings for months on end, until the Festival of Friendship that is. It was during this Festival of Friendship that Owens' true colors showed and he turned on his former best friend, rendering him to the point where Jericho was taken out of the arena via stretcher and ambulance. Owens has since taken every opportunity to verbally bury Jericho, telling the world that they were never best friends at all and he only turned on Jericho, before Jericho had the chance to turn on him. Owens, incensed over Jericho's insistence that he face Goldberg, an event that cost Owens the Universal Championship, took up Jericho's challenge; but, only if Jericho would put up his own United States Championship. Jericho, hell bent on revenge, agreed. Conventional wisdom would have us all believe that Jericho is out to prove something, to take back what pride and trust Owens stole from him; but, there is nothing conventional about professional wrestling. While Owens was the Universal Champion, Jericho interfered and assisted in nearly all of Kevin Owens' matches, leading many to believe that Owens wasn't the true talent of the duo and that Owens was nothing more than a paper champion propped up by Jericho's constant interference. Owens didn't sleep on those comments. He was very much aware of each and every one of them. Owens is out to prove that he is ready to stand on his own apart from Jericho. He is also incensed over Jericho costing him the Universal Title, in his match against Goldberg. Owens is out for his own personal brand of revenge: taking Jericho's United States Championship. Look for these two to have an incredible back and forth affair, with loads of heated passion between the two former besties; however, Jericho is not the Y2J of 15 years ago. He is an older version of Y2J and pulled in multiple directions due to commitments with his band Fozzy, whom he tours with this May. Kevin Owens is in his prime and he will utilize Jericho's passions against him, force an error, and catch him in a Pop Up Powerbomb for the pinfall victory.
Winner and NEW United States Champion: Kevin Owens

Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match
RAW Womens Champion Bayley vs Nia Jax vs Charlotte vs Sasha Banks
This one has the potential to get real interesting. Bayley strangely captured the RAW Womens Championship amidst criticism from fans, who wondered why she was denied her WrestleMania moment. Charlotte challenged Bayley to a rematch and came up short due in large part to interference from Bayley's best friend Sasha Banks. Sasha Banks calls herself Bayley's best friend; however, she leaves the WWE Universe scratching their collective melons. Would a best friend really believe their BFF is so delicate that they can't stand on their own as Champion or is Sasha just so insecure that she is afraid to be outshined? Then there's Nia Jax, a powerful behemoth unlike any other in the history of women's wrestling. Last week on RAW, the powerhouse Jax left every other competitor incapacitated in the center of the ring. Look for Nia's streak of power to continue to impress; however, she doesn't have the veteran savvy to outlast the likes of Charlotte, Bayley, and Sasha Banks. Nia will be the first woman eliminated. Charlotte underestimates the hate her ex valet Dana Brooke has for her and to what lengths Dana will go to for payback. Look for Dana Brooke to make a WrestleMania appearance costing Charlotte the match. That leaves Sasha Banks and Bayley, who put on two of the greatest matches in wrestling history during their NXT tenure. Look for Bayley and Sasha to be the last two in the ring; however, look for Bayley to outlast her BFF and have her WrestleMania moment in what should prove to be an epic match. No so fast: Sasha's true colors will show and when Bayley offers Sasha a post-match embrace, look for Sasha to attack her former best friend and complete her heel turn.
Winner and STILL RAW Womens Champion: Bayley

Shane McMahon vs A.J. Styles
A.J. Styles was supposed to have wrestled Shawn Michaels at this year's WrestleMania. Shawn Michaels refusal left the WWE front office scrambling to find Styles an opponent, until Shane O' Mac bravely stepped up to do the job no one else could do. After being ignored for a WrestleMania match, Styles was incensed, so much so that he waited for his boss (Shane McMahon) to arrive at the SmackDown LIVE arena and then proceeded to attack him in a parking garage. The pummeling escalated to such an extent that Styles threw McMahon through a car windshield. Beaten; but, not defeated, McMahon challenged Styles to a match at WrestleMania and Styles readily accepted. Styles knows he is the superior wrestler and so does the rest of the WWE Universe. That much is obviouos. Styles; however, strongly underestimates Shane McMahon's tenacity, heart, and drive to entertain. Shane McMahon is willing to do anything to put on a great match, to show his worthiness to step into the squared circle his family helped build. This was evidenced by McMahon's WrestleMania 32 Hell in a Cell Match against the Undertaker, a match that saw Shane McMahon climb to the top of the steel structure and fall nearly twenty feet to a table outside the ring. Styles is a far superior wrestler; but, even he has limits. Shane McMahon has none. Still, almost every one of Shane McMahon's big matches have something in common: he loses. Look for Shane to botch another big spot and look for the savvy Styles to capitalize. Styles will put McMahon in a submission hold (possibly the Calf Crusher); but, look for McMahon to show maximum heart in refusing to submit. McMahon's humanity will take over and he will pass out; however, forcing the referee to stop the match and give Styles the victory.
Winner: A.J. Styles

Non-Sanctioned Match
Seth Rollins vs Triple H
Seth Rollin is legitimately injured, with a knee that can give out at moment's notice. Triple H had Rollins sign a waiver (Hold Harmless Agreement) stating that if anything should happen to Rollins, the WWE would not be held legally responsible. Triple H almost always goes over at WrestleMania. The rare exception is the Undertaker. To say the least, the King of Kings has been quite favorable toward himself in regards to booking. With that being stated, it is possible that Triple H gets the win here, that he uses Samoa Joe to further add to his already favorable odds; but, Seth Rollins has something that Triple H doesn't: motivation. Triple H doesn't need to win this match to make Seth's life miserable. He can technically ruin him through his own booking on RAW. He can bury him on the mid-card, like he has done to so many talented competitors before. Seth Rollin's needs this match to re-gain his dignity, to prove that he doesn't need Triple H. Seth Rollins must prove to himself and the rest of the WWE Universe that he is a man that can stand on his own. As he reiterated on RAW, Rollins didn't like himself when he was Triple H's errand boy. Victory is the only way Seth Rollins survives without forever damaging his already fragile psyche. Look for Triple H to use every dirty trick in the book to attain victory, just to destroy his former prodigy; but, at the end of the night, Rollins' heart will keep him in it. On his own, when all things are even, Seth Rollins is a good enough wrestler to beat the aged Triple H any night of the week. Look for Rollins to beat Triple H in insulting fashion, with his own finisher: the Pedigree.
Winner: Seth Rollins

John Cena & Nikki Bella vs Maryse & the Miz
These couples genuinely loathe each other and their personal feuds stem from years of distaste. Two things can happen with this one. We can see a match where neither couple cooperates with one another. That could get interesting; but, lead to a pretty awful overall match that disappoints the WWE Universe. Don't look for that to happen. John Cena, The Miz, and Nikki Bella are three of the most professional Superstars in all of wrestling. They understand the gravity of the moment and will come together to put on the best match possible. At the end of the day, and for all his bravado, the Miz fails to compare to the in-ring competitor John Cena is. The Miz can talk; but, Cena's illustrious career and 16 world championships show that Cena can walk the walk. The same goes when comparing Maryse to the longest reigning Divas Champion in history, Nikki Bella. Bella is a far superior in-ring competitor. This match could have been a normal SmackDown match and no one in the WWE Universe would have batted an eye; but, it was elevated to the world's biggest stage. Give the four of them credit for adding so much hype, sensationalism, and drama to make this a WrestleMania quality affair. The microphone work leading to this match has been impeccable and the Miz and Maryse have carried their own weight. Still, the Miz and Maryse have insurmountable odds to overcome when it comes to backing up all their talk by actually getting into the ring. Cena and Bella won't let down, especially on the biggest stage of them all.
Winners: John Cena & Nikki Bella

WWE Champion Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton
Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton were once members of the terrifying Wyatt Family. The two struck up quite the bond with one another, even winning tag team gold. Things began to change after Randy Orton won the Royal Rumble, guaranteeing him a chance at Bray Wyatt's WWE Championship. At first, Orton appeared reluctant to face Wyatt; but, then all hell broke loose. Orton visited Bray Wyatt's compound and burnt it down, along with the grave of the mysterious Sister Abigail. Wyatt appeared to have a breakdown in response to Orton's arson. Then Wyatt grew stronger, claiming that Abigail's powers were released and now belonged to him. Last week on SmackDown, Orton appeared to use a special sword-like weapon to stab Abigail in the heart. In the world of the macabre and the occult, who knows what's really going on? This whole lifestyle; however, is relatively new to Randy Orton. Does he really know what he is doing, what he is getting himself into? Bray Wyatt has walked in darkness his entire career and undoubtedly knows how to manipulate its tricky powers. A couple of weeks ago, a dozen men in sheep masks attacked Randy Orton. Wyatt used his powers to conjure up a family even bigger and more powerful than his previous one. Look for that to continue at WrestleMania and look for Wyatt to use his newfound powers to his extreme advantage. Wyatt will retain his Title via pinfall.
Winner and STILL WWE Champion: Bray Wyatt

WWE Universal Champion Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar
Goldberg has humiliated Brock Lesnar several times. In their first encounter, Goldberg beat Lesnar in just seconds, embarrassing him on a national stage at Survivor Series. When the two met at the Royal Rumble, Goldberg eliminated Lesnar with ease. Even last week on RAW, Goldberg Speared Lesnar, leaving him maimed on the entrance ramp. Goldberg will not humiliate Lesnar at WrestleMania. Lesnar knows what's coming for him and now he knows how to take a Spear. Paul Heyman has him ready and now that a Title is involved, even more motivated than ever before. Goldberg has no idea how to take an F-5; but, will have to endure at least one in this match. While Goldberg will attempt to end things early, he will face a more savvy Lesnar, who will outlast the older Goldberg. As time progresses, Lesnar's advantage will only grow. This one will be bloody (whether Vince McMahon likes it or not) and it will be brutal. Both conditions heavily favor Brock Lesnar. Look for Lesnar to brutalize Goldberg, in what will likely be Goldberg's last ever wrestling match. Lesnar will hit Goldberg with several F-5's, finally breaking the veteran, for the pinfall victory.
Winner and NEW Universal Champion: Brock Lesnar

Roman Reigns vs The Undertaker
Roman Reigns is the big dog now and claims that the WWE Universe is his yard. There's a problem with such statements. For the last three decades "the big dog" has been the Undertaker and the WWE has very much been the Dead Man's yard. Reigns has never beat the Undertaker; but, the Undertaker has never faced Roman Reigns. Undertaker's illustrious WrestleMania streak ended at WrestleMania XXX, at the hands of Brock Lesnar. Reigns has been one of the only men to stand toe to toe and blow for blow with Lesnar. He is very much Lesnar's equal in the ring, with unparalleled force and power. The Undertaker's best years are behind him. This isn't the Undertaker from 1996; but, an older more injury prone version of the Phenom. While the Undertaker will have the WWE Universe solidly behind him, it simply won't be enough to overcome Roman Reigns. There is a reason Jim Ross is returning only a couple weeks after the passing of his wife. It's to announce this historical match, which will be the Undertaker's very last. Look for the Undertaker to take one too many Superman punches and one too many Spears. Reigns will bury the Dead Man once and for all with a pinfall victory.
Winner: Roman Reigns
