NEWS: Who Has Creative Control of SmackDown LIVE???
NEWS: Sean Waltman (X-Pac, 123Kid) was a recent guest on the WZ Daily Podcast when he dropped a lot of information on the show's host, Nick Hausman. According to Waltman a former WWE tag team legend has a lot more control over the direction of one of the WWE's chief shows than ever previously believed. A transcription of Waltman's big reveal follows:
Hausman: I don’t know why RAW is one way and Smackdown gets to experiment and try new things.
Waltman: You can’t figure that out?
Hausman: Would you like to enlighten everyone on why that is?
Waltman: Road Dogg’s in charge of Smackdown Live and Vince just lets him have the wheel. Vince doesn’t even come to Smackdown.
Hausman: You’re saying that Smackdown is totally on Road Dogg’s shoulders?
Waltman: A huge amount of the success is on Road Dogg’s shoulders. Yes.
