NEWS: Ric Flair's ESPN 30 For 30 Gets Release Date

NEWS: The wait is nearly over. The long rumored, long anticipated Ric Flair 30 For 30 has been given the green light and an official air date. The 2 hour documentary will feature interviews with Flair, Triple H, Hulk Hogan, Ricky Steamboat, Tully Blanchard, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Road Warrior and many other wrestling luminaries associated with Flair's five decade plus wrestling career. Director Rory Karpf decided to film the documentary on Flair after interviewing the 16-time world champion for the Karpf's previous documentary on former Duke basketball star Christian Laettner. Karpf found himself increasingly fascinated by The Nature Boy and after two lengthy conversations with Flair, the documentary was born.

"I grew up a huge wrestling fan in the 1980s and I was captivated by Ric Flair. It’s been a personally rewarding experience to tell the story of arguably the greatest wrestler of all time. Ric’s story transcends the wrestling business, and my hope is that it will appeal to wrestling and non-wrestling fans alike,"

Karpf stated in an official ESPN press release. Wrestling fans can tune into the 30 For 30 special  exclusively on ESPN this November 7th at 10PM EST.
