NEWS: Bret Hart Lashes Out at Seth Rollins Following Finn Balor Injury

NEWS: WWE Hall of Famer Bret "Hitman" Hart is at it again. Despite his comments hurting Seth Rollins' feelings, the Hitman is back to criticizing the former 2-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion for what the Hitman considers to be Rollins' continuing carelessness in the ring. Nick Hausman of WrestleZone reached out to the Hitman for comment on Finn Balor's recent in-ring injury, which Balor received at the hands of Rollins this past Sunday at SummerSlam. The Hitman statd the following,

"I take no great pleasure in saying “I told you so,” but if you’re a professional wrestler and you keep hurting opponents and or yourself, clearly you’re doing it wrong. I wrestled a very realistic and physical style and not once in 23 yrs did I ever hurt one opponent ever. Seth Rollins needs to improve his technique and become the safest wrestler in the business. I have great respect for Seth. I believe he’ll improve and hopefully stop hurting the talent before someone gets killed. Wrestlers have to trust one another. If a wrestler holds the life of another wrestler in his hands for the sake of his family, wife or children you plain and simply cannot drop it! I saw this coming, if anything WWE producers are negligent for not speaking up about it to him already, instead they’re probably gushing with joy, slapping him on the back telling him “great job!” Bill Goldberg was similar. When I think of Samoa Joe nearly killing Tyson Kidd, then see him continuing to use that deadly finish of his, I just shake my head. It’s not real, it’s only supposed to look real, wrestlers are not crash test dummies!"

Bret has repeated that line about never hurting an opponent many times in a two decade plus career and we have yet to hear anyone ever publicly refute it, so the Hitman is arguably one of the most credible sources out there when it comes to preventing in-ring recklessness and recognizing it. In Hart's challenge of Rollins he also manages to throw Samoa Joe and Goldberg under the proverbial bus as well. As of press time, there has been no official response from Seth Rollins; but, we would like to hear him respond to Bret's latest quip of, "Clearly you're doing it wrong.". Finn Balor underwent successful shoulder surgery to repair his torn labrum and is expected to miss at least six months of action.
