NEWS: Wrestling World Strikes Back at Conor McGregor
NEWS: After Conor McGregor's insults against professional wrestling went viral, it didn't take long to draw ire from the wrestling world. McGregor called wrestlers "pussies," and apparently that's all it took to get things rolling. The following are a collection of tweets in response to McGregor's insults:
It's a wonderful thing to see the wrestling world unite against arrogance and ignorance. No athletes work harder than professional wrestlers, so to question their toughness is one of the biggest insults one can give to athletes who routinely give their hearts, bodies, and souls 300 nights a year. Most wrestlers fail to make money when hurt, so wrestling hurt (and injured) is routine for the professional wrestler. Wrestling is the only sport without an offseason, without a reprieve, yet wrestlers continue to entertain the masses. No wrestlers strike when they are underpaid. No wrestlers whine about their current deals. They simply go to work day in and day out with the same veracity and consistency as blue collar America. Wrestling is more dependable than the Post Office because wrestlers work Monday through SUNDAY. There is no tougher sport.

Coming from a guy who built a career copying my persona, I expected the type of class we get from Ronda or Anderson. pic.twitter.com/iVoC0Xva5g— Ric Flair® (@RicFlairNatrBoy) August 7, 2016
