NEWS: John Cena Not on Hiatus......YET

NEWS: After John Cena's SummerSlam classic against A.J. Styles, a shaken Cena removed his Never Give Up wristband and left it in the center of the ring, as the crowd cheered him in his departure. Most assumed that Cena would be taking time off to film season two of American Grit. For many this was confirmed by his absence on last week's SmackDown; however, Cena WAS at SmackDown last week. Despite not wrestling on television, Cena did wrestle a dark match for the Uncasville, CT crowd. Cena is not on hiatus and will likely be continuing his feud with A.J. Styles in the coming weeks. Cena will be taking an extended leave; however, in mid-October, when he actually does begin filming season two of American Grit. His mid-October hiatus will likely put Cena out of action for the rest of 2016 with an expected return for January's Royal Rumble build up.
