NEWS: Why Sasha Banks Dropped the Women's Championship

NEWS: In one of SummerSlam's more surprising outcomes, WWE rising star Sasha Banks dropped her Women's Championship to Charlotte. The title change comes less than a month after Sasha gained the Women's Championship from Charlotte, in the first place. According to sources, Sasha Banks is dealing with a nagging back injury to her lower lumbar region. Sasha will be out of action until, at least September 23rd, as she has been removed from all WWE dates with the exception of September 23rds in Moline, Illinois. Sasha is currently meeting with WWE's medical team for further evaluation. As of press time, the belief backstage is that all Sasha needs is rest; however, WWE is being cautious and giving her a full detailed medical evaluation. This does not bode well for Sasha's WWE career, as Vince McMahon already considers Sasha injury prone, and she has done nothing to prove the boss wrong. Ultimately, Sasha Banks was unable to carry the Women's Championship for a full month, before needing time off for an injury.
