NEWS: Alberto Del Rio Done with the WWE

NEWS: Alberto Del Rio has officially informed the WWE that he will be exercising the clause in his contract to not return to the company. Del Rio is currently serving a 30-day suspension after failing the WWE's Wellness Policy. According to sources Del Rio is considering a TNA run, once his WWE contract officially expires and he is legally free to work elsewhere. There is no word yet on how the WWE intends to smooth things over with WWE Superstar Paige, Del Rio's real life girlfriend who is also currently serving a 30 day suspension for violating WWE's Wellness Policy; but, is still under contract with the company. Del Rio returned to the WWE in October 2015 after a short run with Lucha Underground; but, despite beating John Cena and winning the United States Championship in his first match back, sources indicate that Del Rio was never happy with his current WWE push and was early on looking for an out to his lackluster return to the company. Luckily for Del Rio, his contract provided him with the opportunity he has been looking for pretty much since returning.
