NEWS: ECW Legend Balls Mahoney Reportedly Dead

NEWS: ECW legend Balls Mahoney (Jonathan Rechner) has passed away at the age of 44, only one day after his birthday. According to family friend, Johnny Candido, ambulances were seen at the home and after inquiring, Candido later received the troubling news directly from Rechner's wife. Mahoney was an ECW original that also wrestled for the now defunct Smoky Mountain Wrestling and the WWE. Balls last wrestled for the WWE in 2008; but, wrestled regularly in the Indies thereafter. No details surrounding the death are available at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with Rechner's friends and family.
