NEWS: 400 Plus Pound Football Player WWE Bound?

NEWS: Baylor's Laquan McGowan weighs in at 410 pounds, which fills his 6'7" frame to a shadow casting capacity. When McGowan is drafted into the NFL, he will be the largest Tight End in NFL history. McGowan possesses freakish athletic ability for a man of his size and such ability should make him a matchup nightmare when he enters the NFL. Although McGowan is definitely NFL bound, could he also be WWE bound? McGowan understands that the NFL's sheer violence usually makes for a short career in the league. Here is what he had to say, "I feel like once that’s over with, the WWE is calling my name." While this could be attributed as a fleeting comment that a youngster might say off the cuff, McGowan has given the transition to wrestling some serious thought and has even been in contact with former WWE Ring Announcer Jim Ross. McGowan commented further on a WWE run, "I’ve watched it on TV. I’ve thought about, ‘What would be something good or something that I would enjoy doing for a decent, for a long period of time?’ For big guys in the NFL, they really don’t last that long.” At first glance, the behemoth of a man certainly looks the part, even bringing back memories of former WWE King of the Ring Mabel.
