NEWS: Lilian Garcia Nearly Destroyed the Intercontinental Championship Storyline

NEWS: Lilian Garcia has had her share of well publicized flubs during her tenure as a WWE ring announcer. There was the time she gave the Usos credit for winning a Grammy Award (they were actually Slammy Award winners; but, Lilian obviously confused the twins for a Samoan Milli Vanilli). There was the time she announced then WWE Diva Melina as Victoria. Then there was the time she entirely forgot to announce John Laurinaitis as he made his way to the ring on RAW. Then there was the time she introduced Maryse from Montreal, Ontario (Quebec?), Canada. The list is countless and YouTube has preserved many of these legendary flubs for our merciless viewing pleasure. Monday Night RAW is no stranger to Lilian's errors. This past Monday, in particular, Lilian Garcia messed up in a huge way. She nearly gave away the angle behind the Intercontinental Championship match before the angle was officially made public. Just as Lilian was about to give away that the match between Zack Ryder and the Miz was for the Intercontinental Championship, Lilian's mic was cut. Luckily for Lilian, her mic was cut before she could make the entire announcement. In the heat of all this insanity, a production worker began visibly banging on the ring to get her attention before she could ruin the entire segment and angle. Ryder was set to put his Intercontinental Title on the line; but, only after the Miz coaxed him into it publicly on the very next segment. After making the flub, Garcia could be visibly seen arguing with the production worker who banged on the ring....and very likely saved her job.
