NEWS: Sin Cara In Feisty Twitter Exchange with El Paso Restaurant
NEWS: Sin Cara had an unpleasant experience at an El Paso, TX restaurant that led to a feisty Twitter exchange between he and the establishment. Apparently Jorge Arias (Sin Cara) had different plans when he visited El Paso's Mesa Street Grill; but, according to Arias, the establishment refused to serve he and his friends. Sin Cara posted the following, "Never going there again," along with the Mesa Street Grill's Twitter account, to the chagrin of his Twitter audience. The Grill didn't take Sin Cara's comments in stride either and here's where things get interesting. The Mesa Street Grill replied, "That's OK. We don't go to your wrestling shows." Sin Cara then replies, "That's why the place was empty," apparently equating large dining crowds to WWE show attendance. A wrestling fan, Travis Funck, decided to chime in to the cat fight and directed a Tweet to the Mesa Street Grill, "How can you be so rude to a customer? Disgusting!" Mesa Street Grill replied, "Sin Cara wasn't a customer. He came in with 10 people and threw a fit when we didn't have a table. He then went to Twitter to bully us." I've taken the liberty of editing Mesa Street Grill's grammar and spelling, which apparently are not the restaurant's forte. Sin Cara replied, "HaHa! Big Liar! I am glad we didn't stay. I don't need to throw a fit; but, you need to quit your job if you don't like it." Yes, these are adults going at it folks. Mesa Street Grill replies, "Wanna see the video? It shows the man behind the mask. With all your success, why pick on the little man?" Sin Cara replies, "Pick on the little guy? Good one. I guess u guys don't believe in customer service! I wasn't asking for anything for free. I just wanted a nice meal! I am not going to let Mesa Street Grill disrespect my family. It seems like you judge people based on the way we look." We could just see Triple H rolling his eyes, as he reads these tweets. Then Mesa Street Grill replies, "We're an El Paso family, born El Paso, raised El Paso and proud. We wont let some actor disrespect us or our community." Sin Cara replied again letting the restaurant know that he was also born in El Paso and didn't think being from El Paso was a requirement to eat at a restaurant. Eventually Mesa Street Grill refuses to release the video of Sin Cara coming into the establishment out of respect to the Luchador (seriously) and then goes on to challenge Sin Cara to some kind of dollar for dollar charity event; but, Sin Cara did not reply. Yes, after WrestleMania has ended, this is the feud of the week: a WWE employed Luchador with no P.R. skills vs a shoddy El Paso restaurant with no customer service skills.
