NEWS: Sami Zayn Injured

NEWS: Sami Zayn has apparently hurt his shoulder. The injury was to the same shoulder that kept him out of action for eight months in 2015. The mishap occurred tonight on RAW when Zayn attempted a dive over the top rope. Zayn quickly came up from the floor favoring his troublesome shoulder when the WWE cameras rapidly cut away from him, in obvious pain. There is no word as to the extent of Zayn's latest injury; however, it was significant enough to keep him out of tonight's #1 Contender Fatal 4-Way. Zayn was replaced by the returning Cesaro. The injury could not have come at a worse time for Zayn who seemed due for a huge push after his recent Match of the Year quality bout against NXT newcomer Shinsuke Nakamura.
