NEWS: Alberto El Patron Relinquishes Impact Wrestling World Title

NEWS: After beating Bobby Lashley in a controversial match where two referees went down due to injury, Alberto El Patron's Impact World Championship reign began with controversy. Many called for the incoming veteran to relinquish him new championship. El Patron met with Bruce Prichard and Dutch Mantel to resolve the conflicts around his world title win. Prichard stated,

"Due to the way that you won the championship...let's just cut to the chase, we're asking you to relinquish the championship back to Bobby Lashley."

When El Patron attempted to laugh Prichard off, Prichard asked El Patron how his dad might feel about the way he won the Title. That is what prompted El Patron to agree to relinquish the Impact World Championship. El Patron agreed to relinquish the Title; but, when he asked for a rematch, he was told that would be up to Bobby Lashley. The entire segment can be seen in the video below.
