NEWS: WWE in Talks to Purchase Ring of Honor

NEWS: WWE has been involved in what have been described as "top secret" talks with Sinclair Broadcasting Group, the company that owns Ring of Honor. According to sources, WWE is talking with the company about purchasing Ring of Honor, its entire roster, and its video library. The WWE also intends on keeping Ring of Honor's weekly television show, which it will air on the WWE Network. All indications are that if WWE were to acquire ROH, it would keep the brand going as an entirely separate entity for the sake of competition, no matter how manufactured that competition may be. WWE had similar discussions with TNA Impact last year; however, the deal fell through reminding fans that these are only discussions and nothing is certain until it is signed on the dotted line.
