NEWS: Daniel Bryan to Return to In-Ring Action

NEWS: Daniel Bryan took to SmackDown's post-show Talking Smack to drop hints about a possible in-ring return. While the Miz went into his usual taunting of Daniel Bryan, he proceeded to tell Bryan that he could no longer wrestler. Bryan instantly responded,

"I can't or they won't let me? We'll see in a year and a half, we'll see what happens."

Bryan is talking about when his WWE deal expires, which will be in 18 months. According to sources, the WWE is well aware that Bryan still believes he can wrestle and full intends to get back into the ring one day; however, they are unwilling to take any chances with the sort of liability on an in-ring Daniel Bryan return would bring on. Bryan suffered more than ten concussions during his wrestling career. The concussions were so severe that they eventually brought on debilitating seizures. Bryan went through extensive testing and WWE doctors simply could not clear him in good conscience. Bryan's first reaction to this was to want out of his WWE deal; but, that was a contractual impossibility, so Bryan agreed to stay on as SmackDown GM until his deal ends. Bryan has told people close to him that he intends to wrestle for New Japan Pro Wrestling once his WWE career comes to an end. Wherever Bryan ends up that new company must clear him medically, which given his history is not a certainty.
