NEWS: Why WWE Called Off Roman Reigns vs The Rock

NEWS: WWE's initial WrestleMania 33 plans included a match between cousins Duane "The Rock" Johnson and Roman Reigns. Plans quickly changed; however, to Roman Reigns vs The Undertaker due to the Rock's heavy filming schedule and Hollywood reluctance to allow Rock to compete in a sport where injury is commonplace. In fact, the last time the Rock had a major WrestleMania bout against John Cena, he tore his pectoral muscle further terrifying the large Hollywood production companies that spend a fortune for Duane Johnson's acting services. Since then it has been extremely difficult to get the Rock to proceed with a major match. Sources indicate; however, that the Rock is extremely interested in getting in the ring with Roman Reigns and that the bout is inevitable, when the Rock's acting career allows for it.
