NEWS: Gail Kim to Stephanie McMahon, "Impact Wrestling Started the Women's Revolution!"
NEWS: Stephanie McMahon sat down for an interview with ESPN and gave credit to the fans as the real force behind the Women's Revolution in the WWE. She also gave credit to her husband, Triple H, who was able to attract and then mold top talent via his NXT brand. One former WWE Superstar was watching Stephanie's interview and had a huge disagreement with what she heard. Impact Hall of Famer Gail Kim doesn't believe the Women's Revolution began in the WWE at all. Instead she believes the WWE stifled women's talent for years. Kim contends that the actual Women's Revolution began in Impact. She tweeted the following:

It is interesting that Kim believes she never received an opportunity until she arrived at Impact. She won the Women's Championship on her RAW debut.
